Grey's Anatomy: Haunt You Every Day
Meredith has a nightmare about seeing herself in the morgue. “Pick me. Choose me. Love me,” says the dead Meredith. It’s a freaky flashback to when she said those words to Derek last season in that icky triangle with Addison.

Even freakier is that Meredith is carrying around her dead mom’s ashes in a plastic baggie. She doesn’t know what to do with her, but she’s trying to “evolve,” she tells Derek.

Cristina thinks about moving out of Burke’s place, but instead ends up taking Callie in as a roommate. She’s taking Callie’s side in the Izzy-George-Callie triangle, which Callie told the world about earlier that day.

Lexie gets punk’d by Cristina, who tells her the interns always dress up for Halloween. They don’t. Lexie is mortified when she shows up for work dressed like Raggedy Ann.

Bailey treats a guy who says his foot isn’t his own. It’s a corpse’s foot, and he wants it removed. But when no one complies, he steals the chain-saw of a kid who comes in with a missing finger after a pumpkin-carving contest.

The guy starts cutting his own foot off and, yuk, blood splatters everywhere, which causes Norman, the old-guy intern, to pass out. Turns out he’s never been much for blood and guts, so decides to go into psychiatric medicine. It’s no secret that the rest of the staff at Seattle Grace could really use an on-call shrink.

A kid approaches Mark about getting some new ears. Yep, he has no ears, but would really like some. Mark agrees, but needs Meredith’s help in getting pro bono funding. Ok, but where the heck are this kid’s parents? She gets the funding, the kid gets his ears, blah blah blah.

Alex gets a visit from Rebecca a.k.a. Eva. She can’t stop thinking about him and vice versa. He seals the deal with a nice long wet kiss, then they bunk down in the staff room. He’s called away and she leaves, but I doubt this is the last we’ll see of her.

In the E.R., a car crash victim comes in with no hope of being saved. Turns out her dad is in the hospital waiting for a heart. Wow, is that ever convenient, and oh so predictable. Come on, people, step up the pace!
