Brothers & Sisters: Domestic Issues
Sarah and Joe enter into a nasty custody battle over the kids. I thought things were going too well with their divorce, but really, how can a guy justify taking kids away from their mother? And a mother who’s really good at it, like Sarah?! Bah.

Kevin is repping Sarah, and he advises her to get some stellar character references. But when she starts calling people, she learns that Joe has already snagged all the good ones. He’s being a total jerk about it. Later, Sarah makes her case to the judge, saying she shouldn’t be punished for being a working mom. But he still gives Joe full temporary custody. What?!!!

Sarah tearfully gives her daughter a cell phone, with instructions to call her any time, 24/7. And Nora is there for Sarah, too, holding her hand as the kids walk out the door with Loser Joe. Heartbreaking.

I’m guessing there will be a wedding in the next few weeks. And, of course, Nora will be with Kitty every step of the way, whether she wants her there or not.

Tommy tells Lena they can’t get together again, and she agrees, saying she doesn’t want to mess up his marriage. Ok, so how does that translate into calling him from the bar to come be her designated driver? Does she have NO ONE else she can call? Of course, they end up in a passionate kiss.

Oh, these people…
