Now there is a personal "brain trainer" to examine a person's state of mental fitness and deliver special "workout" programs for each person's brain. Also, the MindFit software determines mental strengths and weaknesses of the user and creates a training session for just that individual. This software works only on PCs with Pentium III processor or higher and Windows 2000 or higher. It's sold via FirstStreet for $149.95.

As a result, the brain benefits from exercise, activity, and regular mental exercise. Active seniors who follow their health and fitness should stay mentally fit, too, with a modest and regular regimen for the brain. It's a great cycle: activity of the brain and fitness increase your blood flow, and as a result the blood flow supplies food for brain cells.
