Meet Our Experts

By Dolly Carlisle

Executive Editor

We all want to look our best, feel our best and get the most out of life. As time passes, this can become more difficult since we live in a culture that focuses most of its attention on our youth. At ReZoom.com, we have gathered a team of trailblazing experts, who in their respective fields, are redefining what it means to be past 40. They keep us informed and up-to-date with insightful advice based on their own experience and knowledge. At last, those in the center of their lives have a place to call home.

Daina Hulet

Daina Hulet, "Looking Good" Expert

As a former runway model and West Coast Editor of "Glamour" magazine, Daina Hulet was well versed in knowing how to look her best. But after turning 40, she began to realize that what she had learned about staying stylish was no longer applicable for either her or her friends. She was no longer getting compliments about how she looked.

Disturbed that the fashion world and media were ignoring women and men past a certain age, Hulet resolved to create a new strategy for how to stay chic in the second half of life.

As our "Looking Good Expert," she provides advice filtered through the insight that grown-up style is as much about feeling comfortable in one's skin as it is looking great in our clothes.

Larry Nager

Larry Nager, Music Columnist

To know where we're going, we must understand how we got here. Larry Nager writes about the music ReZoomers love with an historian's perspective and insight. His work for NARAS (producers of the Grammy Awards) includes scripting the short films that salute those winning the Grammy's Lifetime Achievement Awards. His innate understanding of how music in various genres has evolved over time is evidenced in his writing about talent ranging from Jerry Lee Lewis to the Staple Singers to Maria Callas.

A former musician who traveled the bluegrass circuit for over ten years, his recordings have been reissued by Smithsonian Folkways. His 25 years of experience as a music editor/writer and his long-term relationships with both traditional and popular artists give him an insider's understanding of why and how artists must express themselves. Nager is ReZoom's musical insider and writes a bi-monthly column on what your favorite's artists are doing both in and out of the recording studio.
