Steve Moore's Transformation

Steve Moore is one of the nation’s most successful concert promoters, and he has worked with some of the biggest names in the country music industry. (You might even find the Dixie Chicks in his Rolodex.)

But, Steve didn’t realize what was missing from his life until he traveled to Central America for a truly life-altering experience. Along with members of his church, Steve helped build schools and churches in impoverished areas of the Latin nation, helping to create the Shalom Foundation in the process.

Being part of an effort to provide education for children who would otherwise not have such an opportunity allowed Steve to see a side of himself, and humanity, that the glitz and glamour of the entertainment world sometimes hid.

"Money is good,” Steve says, “but going and doing is ten times better."
